Lately Emi is really starting to explore her facial mechanics and hands. She is smiling a lot more, playing with her tongue, widening her eyes and making the funniest faces. She plays with her hands all the time and loves to suck on anything and everything! Sometimes I hear this strange/loud slurping noise and look over and she's basically eating her hand. She's also starting to respond to our voices...which is one of the coolest things! We'll be heading to AZ in March so that Emi can meet our Phoenix family and friends, and we're so excited for the trip!

ReplyDeleteHey it's MeKell! I found your blog on a link through Annie's blog. It was so fun to see pictures of your family and your sweet baby girl! I don't facebook so I never really see what anyone is up to. How are you?? We have a family blog too it is www.afamilysandwich.blogspot.com. we are still in AZ and Deke and I are getting ready to celebrate our ten year anniversary :) We've had five kids in that time Hunter(8) then in 2005 we had identical twin boys Ethan and Dylan that were born prematurely in 2005 and only lived a couple of days they would've been 7 tomorrow actually. After life settled in again we were blessed to get to adopt Avery(5) in 2006 right after she was born. And then I got pregnant again and we now have Emma(22 months). The three of them keep us busy but they are each so amazing I am loving being a stay at home mom and getting to be with them. I had really hoped to see you and Amber and Amy at the 10 year reunion but it was fun to see the people that were able to come. It was fun to see Dacia and Teeny pregnant. Anyways now that I have left a giant paragraph in your comment box. It was so nice to get a glimpse of what you have been up to. You have a beautiful family. Talk to you soon.
